1.Formulate the machining process according to the method of clamping and positioning CNC machining parts
Due to the different structure and shape of each non-standard part, the requirements for the surface, size, shape and position accuracy of each workpiece are also different, so the clamping and positioning method during CNC machining will also change accordingly. Under normal circumstances, the inner hole is used for clamping and positioning when machining the outer shape of the casing, and the outer shape is used for clamping when machining the inner hole and the inner cavity. Therefore, the CNC machining process can be selected and confirmed according to the different positioning methods of the workpiece such as the casing and the panel.
2.According to CNC machining, select the number and type of tools to formulate the process flow
CNC machining operators at 2fprototypes want to do everything that can be machined with as few tools as possible in one setup, and then change tools to machine other parts. This method of CNC process formulation can reduce the number of tool changes, shorten the auxiliary operation time, and reduce multiple positioning errors.
3.Formulate the process flow according to the principle of first roughing and then finishing during CNC machining
“The precision and quality should be better, the processing speed should be faster.” This is the principle of CNC machining, and it is also the aspiration and unremitting pursuit of machining practitioners. In the specific practice of CNC machining, first rough machining is performed to remove most of the residual material, and most of the remainder of the blank is removed in a relatively fast time, and then finishing and smooth surfaces are arranged to improve machining efficiency.
4.Divide the process according to the processing part
The plane and positioning surface are first processed, and then the holes and grooves are processed. The simple 2D shape is processed first, and then the complex 3D shape is processed; the workpiece parts with lower precision are processed first, and then the parts with higher precision are processed.
However, it is worth noting that this CNC machining method can sometimes work in practice and sometimes contradict each other. When encountering a situation that is inconsistent with the theory, we need to act in a timely manner and use various methods flexibly. Remember to keep the most basic principle: on the premise of ensuring the accuracy of the workpiece and the feasibility of the processing technology, try to reduce the number of clamping times and the number of tool changes, so as to improve the machining production efficiency and the service life of the machine tool.
